UAE AI DIRECTORY
26 JUL 2026
Methodology · as at 26 July 2026

How this registry is built.

A continuously maintained record of the organisations and people building, funding, teaching and deploying AI in the United Arab Emirates. Every count on this site is dated; the current snapshot was compiled on 26 July 2026 and is refreshed weekly.

Discovery

Entities enter the registry through four channels.

  1. 01Automated discovery — weekly agent sweeps of the public web, search-driven and evidence-linked, plus structured dataset builds.
  2. 02Anchor registries — Dubai AI Seal announcements, Dubai AI Campus and Hub71 cohorts, MBZUAI spinouts, licensing and event records.
  3. 03Editorial research — human-directed investigation of gaps.
  4. 04Submissions — entities and practitioners who apply to be listed.

Automated discovery is a starting point, never a publication decision.

Every record carries its evidence URLs and its source channel.

Classification

Entities are classified on the UAE AI value chain: Compute & Infrastructure, Models & Research, Tooling & Platforms, Applications, Services & Integration, and Adoption & Demand — with Capital, Ecosystem, Research & Education, and Communities & Media as cross-cutting layers.

Each entity carries one primary layer and an ownership class, from sovereign-linked through to independent. One layer per entity is a deliberate constraint: it is what makes the layer map on the homepage a true measure of thickness rather than a tally of tags.

Counting rules

Verification

Every organisation displays its verification status, and the badge on a card is the same badge explained in full on the tiers page. Of 892 organisation records, 393 currently carry a source-verified badge; the remainder are listed pending review.

People are different

Practitioners — educators, builders, researchers, community leads — are never published from scraped data. A person appears in this registry only after human editorial review and their consent, given either by direct confirmation or their own application.

We track the size of the practitioner layer in aggregate — 166 as at 26 July 2026 — and publish individuals only on those terms. That is why the people page shows a count without a list.

Corrections

This is a living registry and it will contain errors. If your organisation is misclassified, wrongly described, or missing — or if you want your logo, name, or listing amended or removed — email web3bedouin@gmail.com. Corrections with evidence are processed in the next weekly refresh.

Independence

Government and public-sector entities are listed and featured free of charge and are not commercial inventory. Paid placements, when introduced, will be labelled as such and will never alter classification, verification tier, or inclusion.

A tier is never sold.
